Ghassoul clay is very rich in minerals such as magnesium and potassium making it an excellent choice for acne-prone skin. These minerals help remove dead and flaky skin cells as well as clean and tighten the pores.
Owing to the negative charge ghassoul clay carries, it helps to draw out impurities formed from pollution and other environmental factors thus helping prevent breakouts.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

For the skin:

  • Mix 1 tablespoon (or 2 teaspoons) of ghassoul clay with two tablespoons of water until a slightly thick paste forms.
  • We strongly recommend using a spoon to mix your clay and water, as a metal spoon will react with the clay and reduce its detoxifying abilities.
  • Apply onto the face & body as needed and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. You may feel a slight tingling sensation and experience slight redness afterwards which is normal. This is the clay working its magic and removing the dirt from your skin!
  • Remove the mask using an organic muslin or warm water and cotton pads.
  • For an extra soothing sensation afterwards, we recommend applying Nourish London Relax Calming Moisturiser.

For the hair:

  • Mix 2 tablespoons of ghassoul clay with four tablespoons of water until a slightly thick paste forms.
  • We strongly recommend using a wooden (or non-metal) spoon to mix your clay and water, as a metal spoon will react with the clay and reduce its nourishing and detoxifying abilities.
  • Apply onto the scalp using a hair dye applicator and leave it on for 15-20 minutes.
  • Rinse the hair and scalp thoroughly with warm water. We strongly recommend that you spend sufficient time rinsing your hair to ensure all the clay has been removed.
